New Moon in Libra, 2026 ~ Financial and Mundane astrology by Gabriella Mittelman

This New Moon starts with the Sun already "over the hill" 17* ♎. I see the planets as climbing a moutain between 5-16*; and from then on, discending it; till the 29-30th degree ( which are the so called "Anaretic" degrees.)
This New Moon, cast for Israel time, GMT+3; falls in the house of service; H6; in VIA COMBUSTA,( as explained in my previous article ) both sextile Jupiter, which is also "over the hills"..A sextile is considered a supportive aspect; to begin a month with.
Not only the Moon, but the Sun at 17° Libra, Mercury (R) and Venus (R) are also all inside Via Combusta (15° Libra - 15° Scorpio) - the ancient "Burning Way" - a concentration of 4 personal planets scorched in the same Burning Zone, which explains why this New Moon feels so intense, over-the-hill, and karmic.
Mercury, in R moves from 12 to 6*♏.
Venus also retrograde, among 4 other planets - moves from 7*♏to 23♎; ( note: this Libra-Scoprio zone is where Netanyahu and Putin have a stellium).
Mars moves in fire ♌7* to 22 !!! ( the kill or get killed deg).And the rest hardly move 1-3 deg.
We have an ongoing sextile between Neptune and Pluto; till Oct.30) also a trine from Uranus to Pluto. These aspects are extremely rare, as I explained in my videos on You tube in 2019.
By the time we reach Oct.16th , Pluto will be Direct; but we will still have 5 planets R.

On Oct.23 the Sun enters Scorpio - major CIT.

On Oct.24 Venus will reach inferior conjunction ( it will pass between Earth and the Sun, it will be Cazini, in the middle of Via Combusta); this specific planetary position happened 8 years ago.

Isn't AI marvellous ??? check out this picture! shows the Venus Pentagram based on Oct 24 Scorpio positon; and the 4 other planets in the Via Combusta... extremly rare positions!

 and it will be a Morning Star ( Phosphoros = light bringer) from early November.

Yesterday in the USA: the bears stayed, and we saw more negativity

But with all that noise, the S&P is still above Oct. 1st low...
The Nasdaq broke that low, with a " falling 3 methods" pattern. 

Lead by the Technology grp... I wrote a few days ago, if KOSPI 50 is weak, the Nasdaq, the chips, will suffer. 

First 10 by Volume, AAPL is the only one green 

Now the question is, what was before? the hen or the egg? Is S.Korea pushing the Nasdaq down, or vice versa ?

META AI answer: 

For the last 3 months it's the egg that came first - and the egg is Seoul.

This is not the normal relationship. Normally Nasdaq leads Kospi. But in 2026 Kospi stopped being Korea and became a semiconductor index.

60-day correlation between Kospi and Nasdaq 100 climbed to ∼0.50, highest since 2021
Samsung + SK Hynix now more than half of Kospi, market acting as semiconductor gauge

So what you're seeing now is a feedback loop, not one-way:

1. Nasdaq cracked first:
Yesterday Nasdaq Composite down 1.88% to 26,692 on hotter US inflation + AI spending fears

2. Kospi took it and amplified it:
This morning Asian open - Kospi tumbling 5.7%, Nikkei -3.3%
Korea Exchange even halted program trading at 9:08am

3. Now Kospi is leading Nasdaq down:
Futures linked to Nasdaq declined after Korea's chip-heavy Kospi fell over 5% 

So who is pushing who?

• Structurally: Nasdaq still pushes Kospi. US is the demand, Korea is the supply.
• Tactically right now: Kospi is pushing Nasdaq. Because if Samsung/SK Hynix can't sell HBM chips, Nvidia can't sell GPUs, so Nasdaq falls. The market is using Kospi as a real-time check on whether AI capex is real.

• KOSPI 50: if 6195 breaks, NAsdaq crashes 
• 

TSM: alert on 9/30 : stop 455 - now it is at 424.6

BTC: fell, but still above 9/15 low; in the intraday, many buy the lows!!!

It must go above 81820 - to be out of crashing danger for a while..

News in the sky:
We got that fall yesterday, as expected, under the SAG.Moon. It is also the first quarter of the Moon, from the New Moon.

TS shows what happens under the Moon's phases:

The Moon today is still in ♐which got a boost from Jupiter in  ♌60^ Sun. Today we still have those aspects...Mercury in ♏( the 8th house sign of death, Mercury in Scorpio = rules machinery, gas, underground, investigation, 8th house themes. That is textbook for blast from gas cylinder + building with structural defects. The Moon in SAG ( fire) activated the Mercury-Mars square.. Mars in fire Leo; and also at Mars/SAT MP ! Saturn at 10 Aries ( fire)

 brought a lot of traffic and flight accidents, and all kinds of other disasters... Like a building crashed in the middle of TA at 9:55; ( 5 workers escaped the demolition site, before it happened) ...a blast in Intel factory,at 14:41 ( gas leak )  etc etc. 

Besides these aspects we have a lasting midpoint position : Uranus is at Mars/Neptune MP. Ebertin wrote : changing energy levels; state of weakness , crises in life, an illness or accident.

TA35: rallied yesterday, lke there was no tomorrow... from 4130 to 4193.95

But now, we have 0.95% minus ! arbitrage, so all that rally will be wiped out. The support is at 4151; that breaks, it will slide 30-40 points lower.

Yesterday in the USA: weakness continued. lead by the Energy grp; as winds of war are escalating.

Fed.announcements were positive, but not enough..

More announcements to look at, today... before market opens. 

Meanwhile, now Asia is rising:

ES future: be careful between 10/23-11/2

Important earnings today: 

BAC: does't look good! Stop = 52.50; short if below.

MS: the same: has been falling since mid JULY! 

BLK: roze after the close, stop 1050
Many shares topped and have been falling since 8/14, Mars entered Cancer, where it is in its fall. Mars left ♋on 9/28, and entered, still is in ♌, around that day, 1-3 days later shares made a low, but are not picking up a rally...

News in the sky: the Moon moved into fire SAG - usually it brings a decline ( it is 150^ from her domicile) all over. markets will probably wait for Fed. announcements before they move.

Looking at the aspects; there is a good Jup-Sun sextile, still ongoing; but the Venus-Uranus 150^ is bad; look out for gaps!

TA35: I wrote yesterday " the trade range is between 4051- 68-4081." 

30 min graph: we can see higher lows, and it ran up to 4139.58.! Target for today is 4200- stop 4120

Nasdaq: bottomed on 9/17; has been climbing since then, I would use 27160 as stop.
QQQ: made higher lows and highs, it is in an uptrend ; Stop = 725.

SPY: same, stop 770.

KOSPI50 : Double bottomed, it is a long now; stop is 6991.

What we are seeing in many shares is a try to make bottom and reverse; under that positive Jup-Sun aspect... However; IMHO, it won't last long.

7:47 am GMT+3 and ASIA is mostly red! 

It is interesting how South Africa rises and KOSPI falls.. aren't they under the same sky ?

So' let's look up to the sky: 

We can see the Sun at 18-19 Libra; see my former posts; it is "over the hill" declining. and in its FALL.

The Moon is in her Fall, 7 SCO.

She is just leaving a conjunction with Venus in R and in Detriment ! and soon will conjunct Mercury, where we might see a gap. All 4 are in the "Via Combusta" as expalined before. 

MArs and Jupiter are in fire ♌; which can give a boost to a rally. But, Mars trines Saturn in Aries, where it is in it's fall, so weak..And surely we still have the sextile between Nep-Plu. 

KS11: Roughly it shows a rise till June, 2027; However, to trade this, we must calculate closer support levels..

Just adding a small trend line and multiply it by 33:

falling here can go to 5400; should be above 6600; in order to "work" as per the Easy Cycle.

In the Hebrew calendar we are now in the month called :

MAR-CHESHVAN: The Burning Way & The Rose of Venus
In the Hebrew calendar we now enter **Mar-Cheshvan** - the Bitter Month.
*Mar* means bitter, and *Mar* means water. It is the only month with no holidays. No lights, no feasts. After the fullness of Tishri, Cheshvan is empty - and in that emptiness, transformation happens.
Cheshvan is the month of **Scorpio ♏**. Its ruling planet is Mars - the war mongerer. Its element is water. Its sense is smell. Its letter is Nun - which means to fall and to rise again.
Tradition (the BIble) says on **17th Cheshvan the Flood began** - the waters of the abyss broke open. On **11th Cheshvan Rachel died**. It is a month of underworld, of death and rebirth.
In classical astrology, the exact same zone - **15° Libra to 15° Scorpio** - is called **Via Combusta - The Burning Way.** The caustic, purgatorial road that planets fear to walk.
And this year, **Cheshvan 2026 holds a secret:**
**On 24th October 2026 = 24th Cheshvan**, Venus will make her **inferior conjunction** - passing between Earth and Sun at **0°45' Scorpio** - exactly inside Via Combusta, inside Cheshvan.
This is not a yearly event. It happens every 584 days. Every 8 years Venus draws a perfect **5-petaled Rose - the Pentagram** in the sky. Each point stays in the same sign for a century. The Scorpio point is now sliding backward from 5° to 0° Scorpio - **into Via Combusta.**
This October, we have:

> **New Moon at 17° Libra + Sun + Mercury Retrograde + Venus Retrograde - 4 planets in Via Combusta - inside Mar-Cheshvan - at the exact moment Venus is reborn as Morning Star, as Lucifer-Phosphoros, the Light Bringer, on the Scorpio tip of her 8-year pentagram.**
Mar-Cheshvan is not peaceful. Lucifer is not peaceful. Via Combusta is not peaceful.
It is **initiatic.** It is the flood that must come to clean the world. It is the bitter water that becomes sweet after you cross it.

In **October** - which is **Cheshvan / Via Combusta / Scorpio season** - the S&P always burns. It's Wall Street's Via Combusta.

Statistically, October is the **most volatile month in 95 years of S&P history:**

**The biggest crashes ever all happened in October:**

* **Oct 28, 1929: -12.34%** - Black Monday

* **Oct 29, 1929: -10.16%** - Black Tuesday

* **Oct 18, 1937: -9.27%**

* **Oct 15, 2008: -9.04%** - Financial Crisis

* **Oct 26, 1987: -8.28%** - Black Monday 1987

* **Oct 9, 2008: -7.62%**

But also the biggest **rebounds**:

* Oct 13, 2008: **+11.58%**

* Oct 28, 2008: **+10.79%**

* Oct 21, 1987: **+9.10%**

That's classic Via Combusta - burns both ways.

**What happened in October recently, before your 2026 point:**

* **Oct 2023:** S&P fell **-2.1%**

* **Oct 2024:** Choppy - opened 5757, closed **5705.45** - almost flat

* **Oct 2025:** Opposite - S&P had its **best October ever** - rose **+2.3%**, 6th straight green month, record close **6,890.89 on Oct 28, 2025** - highest monthly average ever at 6,573

* **2026 YTD:** As of Oct 7 2026 S&P is **+14.98% YTD**

So you see the pattern: **Cheshvan/Scorpio/October is either a crash or a parabolic reversal**. It never stays peaceful.

That's exactly why classical astrologers said **don't make decisions in Via Combusta** - and why modern traders call October "the bear killer" - because the bottom usually happens in the Burning Way.

The Venus Star Point on **Oct 24, 2026 = 24 Cheshvan** is landing right in that window.

For Israel: during this month: we have transit Mars ( this happens every 2 years )  conjunct Pluto, Saturn and R Mars, also the SN conj. R.Mars, which happens evert 18,5 years only. On the other hand, we have Tr. Pluto in opposition R.Moon ( the people); this happens once in 248 years, so nothing to compare it with. 

But, the chart definetly shows a major change for Israel.

Trade wise, I think we should look more into shorts than longs. (using the last top as stop).

For today, the RSP: is still positive, but : below the mid channel = 211- it will be a short. 

Previous falls :

Checking with TS how did the S&P performed in Octobers, 50 years back: I got a 91.8% probabiliy of a fall between Oct 20-Nov.3

I just looked at the astrocartographyc chart of the planets. When the Moon is in disharmonious aspect with the SN; and Neptune we can expect an earthquake...Neptunen is at 2-3 ♈it is crossing Algeria... not an earthquke place... but it is also making aspects over Indonesia and Inida.. 

It is squaring the MC over China and trines the MC over Indonesia 

Neptune at 2° Aries on the World Axis is crossing North Africa on the surface, but its antipodal resonance activates the Ring of Fire - Indonesia, India, Philippines - where Moon in disharmony with SN/Neptune points to water-earth interaction.

These are the Geocentric aspects from Monday for 3 days: 

The market will open with the Moon conjunct Venus in R, in the sign of SCO. We have a positive arbitrage, so, if the close was 4061, with this, we can see 4067.80- we have a strong support at 4062; and an up target to 4089- and higher.
