This lunar month begins with a solar eclipse at 20° Leo—an event that has already been widely discussed. Another significant planetary placement is Mars in Cancer, where it tends to generate pressure and intensity rather than clear energy or drive. During the month, Mercury enters Libra and Venus moves into Scorpio, a sign of its detriment. Toward the end of the month, Uranus will station before turning retrograde.

Mars represents energy, initiative, anger, desire, and the impulse to act. Cancer, a cardinal water sign ruled by the Moon, filters that energy through feelings, memory, home, family, and the need for emotional safety. The result is motivation that is rarely purely rational or forceful; it is usually triggered or sustained by emotional stakes.
