As we traverse this lunar month, we bid farewell to the restless and mercurial energies of Gemini and transition into the nurturing, fixed, and cardinal waters of Cancer. This introspective sign governs the realms of home and hearth, childhood, ancestral roots, national identity, memory, and the maternal lineage — encompassing the mother and the feminine figures within the family. At the outset of the month, Mercury remains in its retrograde motion, but stations direct on the 23rd, gradually restoring clarity and momentum to communication and thought. Venus, having endured its fall in Virgo, now glides into Libra — its exalted domicile — where it expresses its influence with grace, harmony, and renewed strength. Mars, departing Gemini’s airy domain, enters the emotional waters of Cancer from the 12th onward, infusing the atmosphere with steamy intensity, protective instincts, and fluctuating vitality. The outer planets remain largely stationary, lending a sense of underlying gravity to the period.
